 Skillet Salisbury Steaks with Potatoes

Ingredients:


1 lb (450g) ground beef


1/4 cup (30g) breadcrumbs


1 egg


1/4 cup (60ml) milk


1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce


Salt and pepper to taste


2 tbsp olive oil


1 onion, sliced


2 cups (400g) baby potatoes, halved


1 cup (240ml) beef broth


1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water


Fresh rosemary for garnish

Instructions:


1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.


2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.


3. In the same skillet, sauté onions until soft. Add baby potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.


4. Return patties to the skillet. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer.


5. Stir in cornstarch mixture and cook until sauce thickens.


6. Garnish with fresh rosemary and serve hot.
