Ingredients:
1/2 pound large shells pasta, 1 pound ground beef, 2 tablespoons taco seasoning (or 1 packet), 3/4 cup water, 1 cup jarred salsa, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
Directions:
Cook the large shells pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully browned. Drain any excess fat. Add the taco seasoning and 3/4 cup of water to the cooked ground beef. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Stir in the jarred salsa and let the mixture simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, stirring until the pasta is evenly coated with the beef and sauce mixture. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the pasta and stir until the cheese is melted and well combined. Serve the cheesy beef taco pasta hot, garnished with your favorite taco toppings if desired.
