Lemon Fluff Dessert YAY OR NAY!🍋

Ingredients
1 large package lemon Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
1 cup cold water
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk, well chilled
1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional, but boosts flavor)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Jell-O Base
In a large bowl, dissolve the lemon Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water.
Add 1 cup cold water and stir well.
Refrigerate for 45–60 minutes until the mixture is thickened but not fully set.
2. Whip the Evaporated Milk
Using a chilled mixing bowl, whip the cold evaporated milk until light and fluffy (it should double in volume).
Set aside.
3. Make the Cream Cheese Mixture
In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
Stir in lemon zest if using.
4. Combine Everything
Gently fold the semi-set Jell-O into the cream cheese mixture.
Once combined, fold in the whipped evaporated milk until smooth and fluffy.
5. Chill and Set
Pour the mixture into a 9×13-inch dish.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
6. Serve
Slice into squares and serve chilled.
Optional: top with whipped cream or extra lemon zest.
